Where are my eggs?
By asking him early enough, we managed to arrange a chat with the Easter Bunny. He is very busy at this time of year, but he gladly gave us a few minutes of his time.
Easter Bunny, we heard that you will be visiting Andermatt this Easter.
Yes, that’s right. My programme for Easter Saturday is already very full. I’m taking my skis and riding the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway across the Oberalp to Dieni – I’ve heard that the bear will be dancing in Milez! The Waterslide Contest will be held there, and I wouldn’t miss that for the world. After a splash in the cool water, the open air concert with the Vollgas Kompanie will surely warm me up again. As an avid skier, that evening I’m sure to have a roaring time on the floodlit piste from Milez-Dieni. For me, night skiing always has a special charm!
Will you take it easier on Easter Sunday?
Not really. I’m an early riser and I have a lot to do on Sunday. Swift as I am, by daybreak I’ll hide 150 eggs at the Sports Bar. But that’s not all, I’ve also thought up something very special. Among the eggs there will be a golden one, a silver one, and a bronze one. These are not edible, but the lucky people who find one will get a special prize. The egg hunt will begin at 10 am – but I’m not giving away any more secrets right now.
Knowing you, you’re certainly going to watch the fun from a distance. Where will you be heading afterwards?
Of course I am also excited to see who wins! After the prize-giving I’m going to shake a leg for a while to the beats of DJ Harry. After so much excitement I’ll have to get my pulse back down to a normal level. So I’ll go to my holiday apartment – I am staying in apartment house Hirsch – to freshen up and then go out for a drink in The Bar at The Chedi Andermatt. My favourite is the “Pantone 18-1438 cocktail” – just ask for one! After that I’ll be in the perfect mood for a nice classical concert in St. Peter and Paul Parish Church. I’ve heard that in addition to the renowned orchestras there will be concerts by award-winning ensembles. On Sunday, the Belenus Quartet will be playing, with soloist Pablo Barragàn on the clarinet. Yes, I’m looking forward to that!
Dear Easter Bunny, thank you for answering our questions – in spite of your busy schedule.
